Nottingham were due to stage the final of the Betfred.com Standard Trophy on Monday but due to floodlight failure the meeting had to be cancelled. This meeting is now being scheduled for Monday 1st of April where Go Go Sonic has a favorable trap draw in Trap 6.

On the graded front we’ve been ticking over quietly, not quite the start January and February provided us but nonetheless the kennels are still performing. Rock It Myrtle showed what she can do when finally getting opportunity to ger her head in front in an A3 contest after recently being bashed around. Likewise Klockwork Kyoko enjoyed a clear run and showed what she could do when taking an A3 contest in 28.85 -30. Both these bitches started off in the lower echelons of the grading ladder to now being very nice bitches on the graded strength at Monmore and I would be very surprised if they don’t contest A1’s in the coming weeks.

Thursday (28th March) will see us travel to Hove with a van full. Bold Three takes his place in the 515m Standard in a competitive heat where he needs to overcome a tricky draw to get round the bend trouble free. Cullen Catch makes her Open Race debut in the 695m contest, whilst Skywalker Chloe also has her first taste of UK Open racing in a Bitches contest over 515m. Rock It Vera goes in the Maiden contest where she has to face one of last years Irish Derby Finalists!

Klockwork Kindra (Owned by Beverley Wonnacott) and Abbeyvale Usher (Owned by Tony Ullathorne) will represent the kennels, and the track, when competing in the Easter Eggstravaganza competition on Friday. The trap draws have worked out reasonably well and both will be giving there all and should be contenders.

Looking a bit further ahead, all things being well we plan on returning to Hall Green with few runners for their upcoming opens early in April. The likes of Princess Madison, Rock It Vera, Go Go Sonic and Klockwork Kaipo are all penciled in for various races.

Finally, and very excitingly, a new recruit is heading over the water to us as we speak. Scolari Express will join the kennels and will be aimed at all the top races in the coming season. Owned by Mike Davis, he has a very strong hand for major honors with Bold Three and Scolari Express running for him.

The biggest discussion within the kennel at present is the pet name for Bold Three!! So, as a bit of fun, and to get some ‘viewer involvement’ please submit your vote below!
