We followed up last weeks fine performance of have 5 winners in an evening by having 4 tonight at Monmore – 3 being open races!

Azzuri Ferrari started the evening off nicely when over coming trouble at the first bend to take the nights first race, an A3 graded contest, by three lengths. Marcos Henrietta looks like she could be one to keep an eye on over the extended trip as she took her Maiden 630m Open race comfortably. Having to run a very patient race she had to wait until the 5th bend for her opportunity to seize the lead before stretching out wonderfully to score by 6 lengths in a fast 38.24 calculated.

Skyfall Act showed good early pace and determination to score in a Maiden Puppy contest by a neck in 28.80. He’s another one who has been very consistent when getting a trouble free runs and gives his all everytime. Finally, Comets Joe rounded off another good night for the kennels when taking victory in his Maiden 480m Race. A sharp exit from the traps ensured he was able to get a clear passage round the first bend and made all to stop the clock in 28.52.

I also have to mention Rock It Paris who has been flying since her return from season. She has risen up the grades from A6 to winning an A2 last time out, making it 4 wins on the bounce, and seems to have come of age and is showing nice maturity.

All credit goes to the team for the hard work they’ve put in over recent weeks to get the kennel firing again after a sluggish start to the year.
